The RoseCup is a valuable drinking aid for those with difficulties feeding and swallowing, or those who just need a little extra support when drinking and keeping hydrated.

The Flow Control Package is an introduction to the RoseCup System. It will assist in familiarisation with the flow control options. It can be expanded later to serve specific needs.

The Package includes a RoseCup with your choice of colour, a Sipper attachment with a cross valve and ball/straw valve, and a Green Soft spout for mildly thick liquids.

The sipper attachment is designed for people who have difficulties using standard drinking cups. This sipper provides extra flow control and makes it easier to sip and swallow. You can use the RoseCup sipper with any of the three levels of thickened fluids.

The soft spout attachments are a great aid for those with more advanced feeding and swallowing difficulties. Ideal for use when sucking leads to safer swallowing, the spouts ensure only 3ml of fluid is released with every suck.

What’s included in the starter kit:

The RoseCup is long lasting, robust and made in Australia from high quality materials. The mug is dishwasher and microwave safe, manufactured to Australian Nursing Home Industry Standards (88 degrees).

Every RoseCup has three robust, easy-to-grip handles. These big handles allow the cup to be used with the left hand, right hand or with the assistance of a caregiver. The handles have been specially designed to make drinking easy for those with a weaker grip, tremors or difficulties holding normal cups. The handles enhance the versatility of the mug and give dignity, confidence and control back to users.

The liquid tight, easy to screw on/screw off lid enhances the functionality of the mug. A breathing hole allows pressure to be released from the cup. A specially designed grommet can be purchased separately. The grommet seals the breathing hole and, when used with the soft spouts or flow control insert, ensures the cup is spill proof even when turned upside down, dropped or knocked over.

The head of the RoseCup extends at a 30-degree angle. This unique feature ensures there is no need for neck extension when drinking. The head allows the user to keep their natural position while drinking and assists with effective swallowing.

The matte finish square on the lid allows the entry of personal information with a marker pen.

RoseCup with the flow control (cross valve) insert
The flow control (cross valve) insert is a silicone addition, added to the sipper that is easily placed at the mouth of the cup. The cross valve provides extra flow control and will only release a controlled amount of fluid as and when the user is ready.

RoseCup with sipper straw (ball valve) insert
Acting like a straw, the unique ball valve allows liquids to enter the outlet and keeps the fluids in the valve until the next sip even when no sucking is happening. Liquids will not flow back into the mug and can be enjoyed with minimal sucking effort. The grommet addition
The specially designed, tiny grommet seals the breathing hole in the lid and when used with the soft spout attachments, ensures the cup is spill proof even when turned upside down, dropped or knocked over.

The small and large cleaning brushes are specially designed to make cleaning of the RoseCup quick and easy.
